Changing The Scale: Standard, Metric, Custom

Changing your scale from Standard (Imperial) to Metric or vice versa can be quickly and easily accomplished. 

In SmartDraw, choose Units & Scale from the Page tab. 

In SmartDraw for Windows, choose Scale from the Page tab. 

Select your desired scale from the drop down menu. Choose from Standard, Floor Plan (Standard), Metric, Floor Plan (Metric) or Custom. 

Selecting Custom allows you to choose a customized scale (and customized rulers) from the Set Rulers and Grids window. Click OK once the scale (and ruler position) has been determined. 

You can also choose to show the rulers around your Work Area or not by selecting or deselecting Show Rulers from the Scale drop down menu.
